Dog dies after being shot with an air rifle in Lakenheath

An investigation is underway after a dog died after being shot with an air rifle in Undley, Lakenheath.

The incident took place between 4pm and 4.30pm on Sunday 25 May.

The dog, a red Hungarian Vizsla, was shot near to a public footpath and a wooded area behind the dog owner’s property, which is in a rural area of Undley Road.

Any witnesses, or anyone with any information is asked to contact Suffolk Police.
