Cyclist, 70, killed in collision near Brandon

A cyclist has died following a collision with a car near Brandon.

Police were called by the ambulance service just before 10:50am yesterday (18 October) to reports of a serious collision on the B1106, involving a black Ford Focus car and a bicycle.

Despite the efforts of emergency services, a woman aged in her 70s sadly died at the scene.

Suffolk Police have appealed to anyone who witnessed the collision, or anybody who was driving in the area and who has relevant dashcam footage, to get in touch.
