Bee smoker fire spreads to house and garden in West Suffolk

Suffolk fire crews have attended a house fire that started in a bee smoker and spread to the garden and the back of a bungalow in Hundon near Haverhill

Firefighters were called out to Farmerie Road shortly after 4pm on Thursday (16 April).

A man living there suffered smoke inhalation and burns on his left hand.

He received attention from the ambulance service.

Crews from Clare, Haverhill and Long Meldford attended the fire which was declared out at 6:15pm.
