A14 Orwell Bridge in Ipswich closed in both directions after crash
Drivers are being urged to find alternative routes
The A14 Orwell Bridge in Ipswich is closed in both directions following a crash, Suffolk Police has said.
Police were called to the scene at 3.41am on Friday 16th October.
Both the westbound and eastbound carriageways are shut while police and other emergency services deal with the crash.
Suffolk Police said the road is likely to be closed for a number of hours.
Drivers are being encouraged to find alternative routes to their destinations.
Police said diversions will be put in place as soon as possible.
The force said it will provide an update once the road has reopened.
