Shona McGarty has shut down rumours of a potential relationship with I'm a Celeb campmate Aitch, calling him her "little brother". In an exclusive interview with Hits Radio Breakfast, the EastEnders star told Fleur East, Will Best and James Barr: "He just matched my level of hyper."

But despite dashing all our hopes of a new jungle couple, Shona did say karaoke round hers is still "on the cards" — AND has even suggested a collab with the 'My G' rapper.

Talks of a collaboration come as no surprise after the pair famously used the buttons in the I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here iconic red phone box to create a tune during their 2025 stint. The 'My G' rapper is famed for his music, but many didn't realise that EastEnders actress, Shona, is actually an amazing singer herself.

The question that's been on everyone's lips since Shona and Aitch finished third and fourth place earlier this month though, was whether there's a potential relationship on the cards for the pair. It's after they were seen getting pretty close in the jungle.

But Shona was surprised by the nation's take on their friendship, telling the Breakfast team: "I came out and apparently me and Aitch were in a relationship?!

"He's so fun to be around. He's just hyper, he matched my level of hyper." But the actress who plays Whitney Dean in EastEnders said that's all it is, suggesting it's more 'little brother' vibes for her.

I'm a Celebrity

Shona finished third on this year's I'm a Celeb, and during her time in the jungle she was found to have smuggled some contraband in for a hilarious reason.

When asked about it, she told Hits Radio: "I'm not going to lie (I am always mischievous)... Yeah, they said you can't bring any contraband in, obviously and I thought, well, I'm going to try and sneak an eyeliner in because we were playing Traitors in there a lot. We called it Mafia, but it was Traitors.

"And I wanted to dress up as Claudia Winkleman. So that was the plan. But we never got that far because I lost the eyeliner on the way to a trial anyway."

While on the popular TV show, Shona also showed off her yodelling skills, which she revealed was something she picked up during lockdown.

"During COVID people were like taking up sewing and exercise or whatever and I thought, that's not for me. Let me try and learn how to yodel," Shona explained — going on to reveal she even bought a CD and book!
