The wonderful JADE joined Hits Radio Breakfast for Friday Fry-up, where they chatted about her new tour, the possibility of a Little Mix festival - and even a musical that she's considering writing.

The singer, who is now on 'That's Showbiz Baby! The Tour', revealed that she's had the idea of a musical. She opened up about the story to Hits Radio Breakfast's Fleur East, Will and James as they chatted over a Full English.

"I would want to write a Geordie musical," said the singer, who grew up in South Shields, before referencing the musical Billy Elliot and saying: "I think it's time for a good... I would like to write a sort of like football focus. Gazza the musical and there's a song called 'Shearer, Shearer'!

"But I think it would be a good way of incorporating issues, like LGBT, like bringing that into the story.

"Maybe like Montagues and Capulets, but it's like Sunderland and Newcastle in a musical and Iike two lads get it on with each other and it's like the fan base."

When Will asked JADE if she had thought of the idea just now, she admitted: "No, I've already thought of it, but then I've spiralled. You've helped me further the...(story arc)"

She continued: "I mean, I know the Romeo and Juliet thing's done so much, but you just can't go wrong with it. Do you know what I mean?"

'That's Showbiz Baby! The Tour'

While they were eating the fry-up, JADE also opened up about her new tour admitting that she wanted the tour to be more about her than Little Mix, but there will be a "nod to the past".

She told us: "I think 'That's Showbiz Baby! Tour' is very like theatrical. I've really enjoyed doing it in a theatre setting where I can create a more sort of musical-esque show. I think the album is very theatrical, so it lends itself well to that.

"And then in terms of Little Mix, I did a whole medley in my festivals and I feel like this is my first solo tour, it should, you know, be more... just me.

"There's definitely a nod to Little Mix in there, but I like the idea of being like, ok, like I am my own artist now, with a nod to the past."
