Stoke-on-Trent is set to welcome its first-ever Wingstop restaurant, bringing the popular American chain's famed buffalo wings to the city.

The new branch will be located at Unit 3A, Etruria Mills Leisure Park, Etruria Road, Hanley. While the exact opening date has not been announced, Wingstop is currently advertising for a general manager for the new location, with a salary of up to £46,500-a-year.

Wingstop UK, which currently operates 94 branches across the country, has been expanding rapidly. Last year, the company made plans to open at least 20 new sites across the UK by 2025. In 2024, Wingstop launched 18 new sites, including a flagship location at Westfield Stratford City, the largest Wingstop worldwide with over 160 covers.

Bosses at Wingstop UK have previously expressed enthusiasm about the company's expansion saying they are poised for even greater growth, with plans to expand into new regions and create hundreds of jobs.
