Two teenage girls in hospital after e-scooter and car crash in Meir
Police are appealing for information following the crash on Sandon Road
Two teenage girls have been taken to hospital following a crash in Stoke-on-Trent.
The pair were riding an e-scooter when it was involved in a crash with a blue Toyota on Sandon Road in Meir.
Police were called at 5.55pm on Thursday 20th August.
Officers attended the scene alongside colleagues from West Midlands Ambulance Service.
Injuries not thought to be life-threatening
The rider and a passenger on the e-scooter, both teenage girls, were taken to hospital.
Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing at this time.
The driver of the car, a man, remained at the scene and is assisting officers with their enquiries.
Appeal for information
Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Anyone who witnessed the crash, or who has dashcam or CCTV footage, is being urged to contact the police.
