Family pays tribute to musician Nathan Smith after fatal collision in Stoke-on-Trent

Family of a man who died after a collision involving a tractor in Stoke-on-Trent have paid tribute.
45 year old Nathan Smith - from Hartshill - died after the incident on Wednesday (5th August) at around 8.20am at Shelton New Road in Cliff Vale.
His family describe him as a talented musician and beloved family member.
"Nathan was a self-taught electric bass player, who played in various Stoke bands and ran the UTC recording studio in Longton with his friend and fellow Big Cash Prizes band member, Tom Bath," Nathan's family said.
"He was supremely talented and in recent years enjoyed success with a new Stoke band MFK, culminating in supporting the Wombats at Trentham Gardens.""
Nathan was also described as "a wonderful son, grandson and an incredible father" who "charmed everyone he met and was universally adored."
His family expressed that Nathan "will be missed enormously by so many people."
Nathan's next of kin are receiving support from specialist police officers and investigations into the incident are still underway.
