Three arrested after man assaulted outside Stoke-on-Trent pub

Suspects bailed following serious assault investigation

Three individuals have been arrested following a serious assault outside The Traveller’s Rest pub on Werrington Road, Bucknall, Stoke-on-Trent.

Police were called to the scene at approximately 4:05pm on Monday, 15th June after a report of a fight.

A man was reportedly assaulted by two men and a woman, and the suspects subsequently left the scene in a car.

The victim was taken to hospital but has since been discharged.

On Friday, 19th June, police arrested a 22-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman from Stoke-on-Trent on suspicion of Section 18 wounding with intent.

Another 23-year-old man, also from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of wounding and inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent.

All three were questioned in custody and have been released on bail with conditions as enquiries continue.
