Boy in serious condition after being hit by car in Stoke-on-Trent

A boy remains in hospital with serious injuries after a collision in Stoke-on-Trent.
Officers say they were called out to Stoke Road, Shelton at 7.20pm on 7th February to reports a pedestrian had been hit by a black Skoda Fabia.
The pedestrian, a boy, was taken to hospital by ambulance where he remains today (16th February).
He's said to be in a serious but stable condition.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene to help officers with their enquiries.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with footage from the area to contact them by calling 101, or by emailing [email protected] quoting incident number 625 of 7 February.
