Staffordshire to get three new 'state-of-the-art' fire engines
They're going to three stations
Three new fire engines are being introduced at fire stations in Staffordshire.
One has recently gone into service at Burton.
Two more will go to Cannock and Hanley fire stations in the coming weeks.
The new "Rosenbauer" fire engines are fitted with the latest equipment to support firefighters at fires, road crashes and rescues.
They carry 2,000 litres of water, have ladders that can reach 10.5 metres and are fitted with CCTV.
Group Manager Chris Craddock said: "These three new state-of-the-art vehicles represent a significant investment in our frontline fleet and demonstrate our ongoing commitment to providing firefighters with modern, reliable and fit-for-purpose equipment."
He also said: "They are a visible demonstration of our continued investment in protecting both our communities and our people."
