Ryan James Holt, a 33-year-old resident of Stafford, is expected to appear before the court today for charges associated with monkey dust, a class B drug.

This development follows a stop-and-search operation executed by officers in Stafford's Highfields area the evening of 15th September.

Holt remains in custody and is due to attend proceedings at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on 16th September.

His arrest comes amid Operation Rivent, an initiative by Staffordshire Police prioritising the dismantling and prosecution of monkey dust suppliers across the region.

Operation Rivent is dedicated to eradicating the prevalence of monkey dust by intensifying enforcement measures and community awareness campaigns.

The operation highlights Staffordshire Police’s commitment to addressing drug-related offences and maintaining community safety.

As the hearing unfolds, law enforcement hopes for continued success in curbing the impact of monkey dust in local communities.

Updates regarding the court case and Operation Rivent’s progress in further efforts to combat drug crime will be shared.

Those with information relevant to drug activity in the area are encouraged to report it to local law enforcement authorities to aid in ongoing efforts.
