Measures in place to support rough sleepers as temperatures his 30s

As hot weather continues to grip Stoke-on-Trent, additional measures have been implemented to support people who are sleeping rough.

The Rough Sleepers Team is actively distributing essentials such as water, sun hats, and sun cream throughout the day to help reduce health risks associated with the heat.

These supplies can be accessed at various locations across the area:

Individuals can find water and other provisions at:

Hanley Connect Homeless Hub, Hillcrest Street, Hanley: Monday to Friday, between 9am and 5pm. Water is available 24 hours.

90 Hope Street, Hanley: 24-hour access.

Brighter Futures Head Office, Festival Park: Monday to Friday, between 9am and 5pm.

Night Shelter, Burslem: Available after 7pm.

LifeHouse, Vale Street, Stoke: 24-hour access.

Urban Arts, Sydney Works, Sutherland Road, Longton, ST3 1HT: Monday to Friday, between 9am and 5pm.
