Police are appealing for witnesses, after a fail-to-stop collision in Crewe.
At 12.30pm on Sunday 4 January a woman in her 50s was crossing the pedestrian crossing on Flag Lane, near to its junction with St Mary’s Street, when a Sur-Ron style electric motorbike collided with her causing serious injuries.
The rider didn’t stop at the scene and was last seen travelling through the town, towards Earle Street. The rider was described as male and wearing black clothing. He had a rucksack on his back.
PC Ian Smith said: “I’d urge anyone with dash cam footage of the bike in question or the collision itself to contact police. The same goes for anyone who witnessed the collision and has not yet spoken to police, or has any information on the incident or identity of the rider.”
