Police appeal after van fails to stop after collision

Cheshire police are appealing for witnesses following a fail to stop collision in Walgherton.

On Saturday police were called to reports of a collision on the A51 London Road at Walgherton near to Nantwich.

At around 4.40pm a yellow Honda motorcycle and a van were involved

The motorcycle rider is believed to have suffered injuries to their shoulder.

The van, which is believed to be a grey/blue Ford Transit style van, failed to stop at the scene.

Sergeant Jon Dixon said:“Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances, and we are now looking for anyone who witnessed what happened or may have dashcam footage of the incident to come forward to help us identify the vehicle involved.
