A £500,000 makeover is about to transform Bradwell Dingle in Newcastle-under-Lyme, bringing fresh play, fitness, and recreational gear to this beloved community spot.

The local council is revamping the park, swapping out old equipment for modern features aimed at making the park a welcoming place for people of all ages.

The highlight of the upgrade is a new, bigger playground packed with over 70 different play elements.

What’s Happening and When?

Phase one of the work is already making good progress and includes:

-Shiny new outdoor gym equipment

-Easier access for wheelchair users

-Better paths for families with pushchairs

-And a fresh look

Following this, there’ll be some landscaping sprucing and the addition of a new pump track.

The funds for this project are coming from developer contributions tied to the nearby Knype Way housing development, specially earmarked for local improvements.

Everything should be ready to enjoy by the end of summer.
