Teen dies and two others injured after car crashes into tree near Northwich

A teenager has died and two others have been injured after a car reportedly hit a tree near Northwich.

Emergency services were called out to Holmes Chapel Road, in Allostock, at around 9.40pm on 5 July.

They arrived to find a grey Vauxhall Corsa had collided with a tree.

The front seat passenger, an 18-year-old boy from Northwich, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car, an 18-year-old boy from Davenham, was found seriously injured.

He's currently in hospital in a critical condition.

A backseat passenger, a 17-year-old boy from Northwich, was also taken to hospital with injuries.

He's in a reportedly stable condition.

Officers are now appealing for anyone with information or footage which could help their investigation to contact them.
