Search for two men after cash stolen in Northwich burglary

Officers are appealing for information which could help identify them

Detectives are searching for two suspects following a reported burglary in Northwich.

Police were called just after 10pm on 10 June to reports that two men had broken into a house on Solvay Road.

Officers say the pair stole a large amount of cash before running away on foot.

They're being described as white men, aged between 25-35 years old. One of the men was wearing a bright blue tracksuit, possibly a Montirex.

Detective Constable Lara Hill, of Northwich Proactive CID, said: “Our investigation is currently in the early stages, and we are committed to doing all we can to identify the people responsible.

“As part of our enquires, we’re keen to hear from anyone who was in the Solvay Road, Park Road or Winnington Rec area between 9pm and 10.30pm on Wednesday night and believes they may have witnessed anything suspicious.

“The same goes for anyone with any CCTV or dashcam footage from the local area which may aid the investigation."
