Man, 72, left with broken collar bone after being hit by car in Middlewich

A 72-year-old man has been taken to hospital with a broken collar bone after being hit by a car in Middlewich.

Emergency services were called out to the Kinderton Street area of Middlewich on Sunday 29th March to reports of a collision.

Officers say the collision occurred between a pedestrian and a black Vauxhall Mokka.

The 72-year-old pedestrian was taken to Leighton Hospital suffering with a broken collar bone.

The driver of the car, a 33-year-old man from Sandbach, was uninjured.

There have been no arrests.

Officers are now appealing for information to help with their investigation.
