Man charged with several child sex offences
Police received a report in October
A man has been charged with a number of child sexual offences.
Mackenzie Buckingham, 19, of Newcastle-under-Lyme, who is white British, appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Monday 22 June, charged with six counts of rape of a girl, two counts of sexual assault of a girl and two counts of intimidating a witness.
It comes after we received a report of child sexual offences in October last year.
After his first appearance, Buckingham has been remanded in custody, ahead of his next appearance, at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on 20 July.
