Man charged after death of baby in Stafford
It happened in October 2023.
A man has appeared in court after he was charged with manslaughter following the death of a baby.
Officers were called on 12 October 2023 to reports that a three-month-old baby boy, from Stafford, had been taken to hospital.
Sadly, he died in hospital on 20 October 2023.
38 year-old Gareth Stark 38, of Stafford, has been charged with manslaughter and assault/ill-treat/neglect/abandon a child/young person to cause unnecessary suffering.
He appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today and was remanded into custody.
Stark is due to appear at Stafford Crown Court on 9 January.
