Tributes have been paid to a "loyal and dependable" man who died following a collision on the A500 in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

31-year-old Malachy Dozie Mbah died on Saturday (14th February) after a collision between his car and a lorry, close to junction 16 of the A500.

An investigation into the collision is still ongoing.

"His loss has left an immeasurable void in our lives"

His family have paid tribute to him, saying: "Malachy was the gentle centre of our family; a man of integrity, kindness and unwavering generosity.

"Loyal and dependable, he moved through life with quiet strength and honour, lifting others effortlessly and leaving warmth wherever he went.

"A dedicated professional, he was well-regarded and respected by his colleagues at Stoke-on-Trent City Council.

"Everyone who knew him speaks of the same light and steady goodness.

"His loss has left an immeasurable void in our lives, but we remain thankful for the love he gave so freely and the joy of having shared life with him."
