Drug dealer jailed after hiding drugs phones in baby's cot

This Stoke-on-Trent man hid two drugs phones under a baby's mattress.

23-year-old Liam Poole has been jailed for over four years after being involved in the supply of crack cocaine, heroin and monkey dust.

Officers searched a property in Longton in November last year, and found evidence of drug dealing.

They found:

  • More than ÂŁ10,000 in cash
  • bags of white powder left on top of a kitchen cupboard
  • two phones found hidden under a mattress in a baby’s cot
  • another phone hidden amongst Christmas presents

The phones linked Poole to the 'Jack supply line', and had evidence of the sale and supply of drugs.

270 messages were sent over a period of five days to around 70 different numbers.

Poole has been jailed for four years and one month.

He admitted being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine, being concerned in the supply of heroin and being concerned in the supply of monkey dust.
