“Your love was the light that guided us", say family of woman who died in Barton collision

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving

The family of a woman who died following a collision in Barton have paid tribute to her.

24-year-old Sukhanpreet Kaur, of Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, died following the collision on Barton Road at around 5.50am on 14th February.

Sukhanpreet was a passenger in a white Ford Transit van.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 27-year-old man and a 21-year-old man, both of Burslem, have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

They've both been released on police bail as officers investigate.

Sukhanpreet's family have released this tribute:

“Your love was the light that guided us, and your kindness left an imprint on every life you touched. Thank you for the memories that we will cherish forever. You are gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. It feels impossible to say goodbye to someone with so much life still left to live.

“Rest in peace. Thank you for the beautiful memories and the light you brought into our lives. You will be deeply missed.”
