Investigation launched after man 'seriously injured' in Stoke attack
A man was taken to hospital by ambulance with a suspected serious head injury
Police in Stoke are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted yesterday (29 June).
The force were called to Church Street in Stoke-on-Trent following reports of an injured man in the street.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance with a suspected serious head injury, he is now in a stable condition.
Officers are conducting inquiries locally and remain at the scene while an investigation is underway.
