Arrest after reports of man pointing gun at woman in Blurton
A man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence
A 48-year-old man has been arrested after a woman was reportedly threatened with a gun in Stoke-on-Trent.
Officers received reports at around 9.15am this morning (25th March) that a man had pointed a gun at a woman in Blurton.
The man, who is known to the woman, fled the scene in a grey Vauxhall van.
Officers stopped the van on Lightwood Road and seized an air rifle.
The suspect, who is from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
