Firefighters tackle large commercial building fire in Stoke-on-Trent
Crews remain on site overnight after extinguishing blaze

Firefighters have successfully extinguished a significant blaze at a commercial building in Stoke-on-Trent.
The fire broke out at around 7:10 PM on Thursday, 20th August, on Trinity Street in Hanley.
Following initial reports of smoke, five fire appliances and an aerial ladder platform (ALP) were deployed to the scene.
The fire was located on the first floor of the building.
Crews equipped with breathing apparatus used three main jets and the ALP to bring the fire under control, ensuring no injuries were reported.
Firefighters remained at the site overnight to monitor and dampen down any remaining hotspots.
Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.
Police officers are asking any witnesses to get in touch.
