Crews tackle deliberate fire at derelict Stoke-on-Trent building
Police are now investigating after the blaze broke out on Tunstall High Street
Staffordshire Fire and Rescue have been dealing with a blaze at a derelict building in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent which broke out on Tuesday evening.
The services were called at 7.40pm on 18th August to reports of smoke on High Street.
Three fire engines and an aerial ladder platform were deployed to tackle the fire, using hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
The fire, has been deemed deliberate and is now in the hands of Staffordshire Police for further investigation.
Police are appealing for information and request anyone with CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident to come forward.
