Appeal after delivery driver seriously injured in Crewe hit and run
A dark coloured Ford Fiesta fled towards Remer Street after the crash
Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a fail-to-stop collision in Crewe.
At 6.50pm on Wednesday 28th October, a delivery driver was crossing Broad Street when a dark coloured Ford Fiesta collided with him, before heading off in the direction of Remer Street.
The delivery driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries, Cheshire Police said.
Sergeant Russ Sime urged anyone who witnessed the collision and has not yet spoken to police, and anyone with dash cam footage, to come forward.
"I'd urge anyone who witnessed the collision and has not yet spoken to police and anyone with dash cam footage to contact us so that we can track down the vehicle and its driver," Sergeant Sime said.
"I'd also appeal directly to the driver of the Fiesta to do the right thing and contact us," he said.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101, or via the website, quoting the reference number.
