As Chief Constable Mark Roberts prepares to retire after 33 years of service, he has donated £25,000 from the Police Property Fund to two local organisations in Cheshire—South Cheshire Amateur Boxing Club and the Museum of Policing in Cheshire.

South Cheshire Amateur Boxing Club received a £20,000 donation to aid in reducing anti-social behavior in Crewe through community engagement and support. The club, founded by Nathan Clarke, offers a safe environment for young people to exercise and develop skills.

Roberts praised the club's positive impact and emphasized the importance of supporting local initiatives that foster community development.

Additionally, the Museum of Policing in Cheshire received a £5,000 donation to restore a historical sketch and enhance preservation efforts. This museum, led by volunteers, celebrates policing heritage and recently earned The King's Award for voluntary service.

As Roberts retires on 5th November, his contributions reflect his commitment to community support and ongoing legacy in Cheshire.
