Man charged after stabbing on coach near Cannock

A man has been charged after another man was stabbed on a coach on the M6 Toll near Cannock.

41-year-old Lee Pountain, of Hexham, has been charged with section 18 – wounding with intent and two counts of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

Emergency services were called out to the M6 Toll southbound between T8 and T7 on Sunday morning (15th February).

The victim, a man, was hospitalised but has since been discharged.

Pountain is due in court today (17th February).
