Three arrested after fire at derelict building in Burslem
They've been arrested on suspicion of arson offences
Three people have been arrested on suspicion of arson offences following a fire at a derelict building in Burslem.
Emergency services were called to the fire on Newcastle Street at around 2.40pm on Friday (2 October).
Crews have been working to put it out.
A 42-year-old woman, who has no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.
A 38-year-old man from Stoke-on-Trent and another 42-year-old man, who has no fixed address, were arrested on suspicion of attempted arson with intent to endanger life.
All three are in custody for questioning.
Officers are appelaing for anyone with CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage of the area at the time to contact them by calling 101, quoting incident 468 of 2 October.
