Appeal for witnesses after motorcyclist dies in crash near Leek
Police seek information following fatal collision near the Mermaid Inn
A motorcyclist in his 60s died following a collision near Leek in Blake Mere on Sunday morning.
The incident occurred at around 9.45 am, near the Mermaid Inn on Leek Road.
Emergency services, including officers from Staffordshire Police and crews from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service, were dispatched to the scene after being alerted by West Midlands Ambulance Service.
Despite efforts from paramedics, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family has been informed and is being supported by police officers.
Staffordshire Police are appealing for witnesses who might have seen the collision or have dashcam footage of the event.
The police are asking those with information to contact them.
