Woman injured after altercation in Sheffield
An investigation is underway after reports of a fight in Sheffield.
Police say they were called just before 5.30am to Maltravers Crescent.
A 19-year-old woman was found with a suspected stab wound.
A 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and is in Police custody.
A Police spokesperson said:
"We were called at 5.23am earlier this morning (18 March) following a report of a fight outside an address in Maltravers Crescent in Sheffield.
"Officers attended and located a 19-year-old woman with a suspected stab wound injury not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering.
"A 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 assault (GBH) and is currently in police custody.
"A knife has been recovered by officers and a scene remains in place while officers carry out further enquiries."
