Woman dies in Rotherham crash
Police are appealing for witnesses
A 22-year-old woman has died and three people have been arrested after a crash in Rotherham.
Police were called out to reports of collision involving one vehicle just after 1am on Sunday morning.
It is reported that a black Volkswagen Passat was travelling on Penny Hill Lane towards Thurcroft when it came off the road and collided with a telegraph pole.
Officers are appealing for information.
The woman's family have been informed and are being supported by family liaison officers.
Three people were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and have since been released on bail.
Officers are appealing for anyone who may have seen the vehicle before the collision, or the collision itself, to come forward.
