Two charged after Reading FC crowd disturbance
A steward was reportedly injured after the Barnsley game at the weekend

Two people have been charged after an incident at Reading football club's SCL stadium last Saturday.
It happened in the final minutes of the game in front of where away fans were watching the game.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said:
"An altercation took place, during which a steward was reported to have been injured. Two men were arrested at the stadium and were charged the following day.
"Reilly Wood, aged 25, of Knyveton Road, Bournemouth, has been charged with entering a playing area and criminal damage. He is due to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on 24 February 2026.
"Brandon Bashforth, aged 28, of High Street, Grimethorpe, Barnsley, has been charged with entering a playing area, a Section 5 public order offence, and assault by beating. He is scheduled to appear at the same court on 25 February 2026."
