South Yorkshire Police have confirmed a series of road closures, as officers expect a busier than usual Steel City Derby day this Sunday.

Blades welcome Owls to Bramall Lane at 12pm on Sunday, with the fixture coinciding with Lunar New Year celebrations happening in Sheffield city centre on the same day.

Police say they're expecting the area to be "increasingly busy before, during, and after the match."

Roads affected by the closures will include Bramall Lane, John Street and Shoreham Street.

The force warns that some officers will be wearing protective equipment as a precaution.
