St Leger Festival set to get underway in Doncaster
The 250th anniversary event is happening at Doncaster Racecourse from Thursday until Sunday
Up to 75 thousand people are expected to flock into South Yorkshire for the horse racing over the next 4 days.
The 250th St Leger festival starts today at Doncaster racecourse - with the main event taking place on Saturday.
Rachel Harwood is the Exec Director there - She's expecting people to travel from all over for it:
"I was at my hairdressers earlier this week - and she was telling me that her auntie is coming from Luton.
"I was talking to a contractor on site today who told me he's got family coming from London.
"We know we've got guests coming from both Singapore and Japan as well, so people are travelling from all over the world to be in Doncaster to witness history.
"We're really proud of the racecourse and we're really proud of the city - so, to be able to celebrate a historic anniversary is a really nice part of the job."
Ladies Day is kicking things off today - with the gates opening at Doncaster Racecourse from 10am.
The first race is set to start at 1.15pm.
