Sheffield United pay tribute to 15 year old killing in stabbing at school

Sheffield United says its 'saddened' at the death of 15 year old Harvey Willgoose, who was fatally injured during a stabbing at school yesterday.

He was attacked at around midday at All Saints Catholic High School in Granville Road, with a 15 year old boy still being questioned on suspicion of murder.

Harvey's mother Caroline shared posts on social media to express her loss.

In one, she wrote: "Our Harvey, no words" with heartbroken emojis and a montage of images of them together.

In another, she wrote: "My Harvey, life is never gunner be the same. Love you so much."

His sister Sophie wrote on Facebook: "My heart is broken into a million pieces I love you so much Harvey.

"Hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight cos I wish I could."

Tributes, including both Sheffield Wednesday and United shirts, are being left outside Bramhall Lane today.

A spokesperson said: "All at Sheffield United were saddened to learn of the passing of Harvey, our deepest condolences are offered to his family and friends at this difficult time.

"We share the shock and distress of the community following this tragic incident and appreciate that discussions are underway with regards to tributes to remember Harvey."
