A man has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder after a shooting in Sheffield, which left a 30 year old seriously injured.

The victim was attacked on Greasbro Road just before 11pm on April 5. He has since been discharged from hospital.

A 36 year old man has been questioned and released on bail.

Police are still looking for 27 year old Zak Khalifa, who remains wanted in connection with the incident.

He is described as white, 6ft tall, slim build, with dark brown hair and facial hair.

Senior Investigating Officer Simon Cartwright, of South Yorkshire Police, said: “Our investigation into this terrible incident continues, and it is essential that anyone with information that could aid our enquiries comes forward.

“I am sure there is someone out there with information that could enable us to secure justice for the victim of this senseless attack, and for members of the wider community who should not have to live with the threat of such violence in their neighbourhoods. If this is you, please get in touch.”
