Two taken to hospital after Sheffield Rivelin Valley Road crash

Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash at a junction in Sheffield yesterday.

Police were called to a collision involving a black Nissan Juke and a blue Volvo V60 on Rivelin Valley Road at the junction with Rails Road at around 10am.

A woman, who was a passenger in the Juke, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A man, who was the driver, was also hospitalised as a precaution.

Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
