Investigators have released CCTV footage of two men they want to speak to after a reported case of arson in Sheffield.

The fire broke out at a home on Tithe Barn Close shortly after 2.25am on Tuesday 20th January 2026.

It is reported that two men approached the property and deliberately set fire to its front porch before leaving the scene.

Fortunately, nobody was injured as a result of the fire, but authorities say an investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Police appeal for help identifying two men

The men featured in the footage are described as being in their mid-20s and of medium build.

While it’s acknowledged that few identifiable features are clear from the footage, police hope someone may recognise the men by characteristics like their clothing or walk.
