Witness appeal after 17 year old cyclist critically injured in Rotherham

Police are appealing for witnesses after a crash in Rotherham that left a teenage cyclist in a critical condition.
Officers were called to Centenary Way at 6.03pm on yesterday after reports of a collision between a grey VW Golf and a 17-year-old on a bike.
The cyclist sustained life-threatening injuries and remains in hospital.
The driver of the VW Golf, a 26-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and other traffic-related offences.
South Yorkshire Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has dashcam footage, to get in touch on 101.
