Pictures show a big prescence near to Longley Park Sixth Form - who have released the below statement:

"Due to a significant police incident near the academy, Longley Park Sixth Form will be closed today to all students and staff. Students should not travel to the academy.

"Work will be set via Teams for all lessons. Further updates will be shared if and when available.

"Thank you for your understanding."
