It's feared children in South Yorkshire & North Derbyshire are 'significantly' more likely to grow up in poverty today - compared to 20 years ago.

The new research suggests that's even with both parents in the home working full time.

Jayne Mason helps run the S12 Community Pantry in the Birley area of Sheffield - She says it's tougher than ever for families:

"We have had firefighters, nurses, teachers, people that are in extremely important jobs, but they still can't make ends meet.

"It could be upwards of 200 people a week that we're supporting, and we're just not getting the food in from the supermarkets.

"We're not getting the donations of the items to make food parcels up."

Caron Britton also helps out there:

"We've certainly seen an increase in families coming in to use the pantry - even though both parents might be working.

"The cost-of-living crisis is going up; fuel is going up, and people are struggling to make ends meet."
