Police update after M1 closes near Chesterfield
A man has been hospitalised
Derbyshire Police have issued an update after an incident on the M1 this morning near Chesterfield (15/03).
They have confirmed a man has been taken to hospital, but his injuries are not thought to be serious.
In a statement, officers said: “We were called just after 6:50am this morning to report that a person was injured in the northbound carriageway following a collision between two vehicles at junction 29 and 29a of the M1.
“Road closures were put in place, and a man was taken to hospital for treatment, where he remains.
“His injuries are described as not life changing or threatening.”.
