Appeal for dashcam footage after teenager dies in Peak District crash
A man in his 70s has been arrested
Police are seeking witnesses after a crash in the Peak District that claimed the life of a teenage scooter rider.
It happened just before 11pm on Saturday (February 14) near the junction of the A623 and Whitecross Road in Tideswell.
A Range Rover collided with a Lexmoto Diablo scooter, with the young scooter rider being pronounced dead at the scene.
The teenager's family has been informed.
The driver of the Range Rover, a man in his 70s, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
He has been released on bail while inquiries continue.
Derbyshire Police are urging anyone who saw the collision or has dashcam footage to get in touch on 101.
