A man living in Rotherham is among five charged, as part of a National Crime Agency investigation into a people smuggling network.
Police allege the group were involved in transporting Vietnamese migrants into the UK illegally.
Van Huy Nguyen, 22, was apprehended at an address in Rawmarsh, Rotherham earlier this week.
Vinh Van Nguyen, 31, Lia-Chien Trong, 33, and Sy Trai Ho, 27, were produced from a prison in Liverpool.
Quang Van Nguyen, 31, was produced from a prison in Birmingham.
All five have been charged with conspiracy to assist illegal entry into the UK and transferring criminal property.
All appeared in court today (February 18).
