More arrests in Doncaster murder investigation
A 26-year-old man died in hospital after it's thought he was struck by a car on Friday night.
Three more arrests have been made in connection with a fatal collision in Doncaster.
South Yorkshire Police were called at 8.32pm on Friday 10 April to reports of a road traffic collision at Prince’s Street.
It is reported a silver Hyundai was involved in a collision with a pedestrian and failed to stop at the scene.
A 26-year-old man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and died in hospital.
His family has been informed and is being supported at this time.
Two men, aged 30 and 22, were arrested on suspicion of murder, with a 20-year-old man and two women, aged 38 and 24, arrested on suspicion of assisting offenders.
The 22-year-old arrested on suspicion of murder remains in police custody whilst the four other suspects were released on police bail.
On Saturday 11 April a 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder, and a 55-year-old man and a 40-year-old man on suspicion of assisting offenders. They remain in police custody.
